How To Claim An Existing Experience (App Version)

Does a Global Outdoors page already exist for an experience or business you own? No problem! Claiming existing pages is a simple process. The step-by-step methods below will guide you through the process. This article explains how to claim a business on the Global Outdoors app.

Step One: Go to the Global Outdoors Page that is Home to Your Business and/or Experience

Search for you business in the Global Outdoors search bar. Click on the name of the business and from the Global Outdoors page that has been pre-generated click on "I Own or Manage This Business."

You can also scroll down to the bottom of the app and tap either "Claim Your Business" or "List Your Business." Type in the name of your business in the search bar and tap "Claim or List Your Business." When you see your business, tap on it and then tap on "I Own or Manage This Business." This will initiate the verification process.

Step Three: Initiate Verification Process

After clicking the button, you will be taken to a short form. We ask for your name and your telephone number. Why? Because we want to ensure the person controlling the page is the actual owner of the page. You can expect a call within 24 hours of initiating the claim from Global Outdoors to verify that you are the owner of the experience.

Step Four: Pick Up the Phone

Within 24 hours of verification initiation, a member of the Global Outdoors team will contact you in order to verify your identity and that you are the owner of the listed experience. Once you have been verified, you will have full access to edit the information and pictures on the page. The listing will also be included in the My Experiences tab of your profile.
