How to Use the Messenger Function

Global Outdoors includes a powerful messaging tool that allows you to contact an outfitter, boat captain, trail guide, etc. conveniently within the Global Outdoors app. This allows you to ask questions, check availability, and communicate in real-time with the providers without sharing your personal information. The only thing the receiver will see about you is your Global Outdoors screen name.

To use the messenger on the website, login to Global Outdoors and simply navigate to an experience or business page and click the "Message" button located directly under the experience's description. Type your message and click send. You will be notified of a reply in the toolbar at the top of the website's toolbar.

If you are using the mobile app, navigate to an experience or business page and click the "Message" button. Type your message and click "Send." You will be notified of responses within the app. All messages can be seen by clicking on the Messages button on the Global Outdoors toolbar.
